E.C. ""Buddy"" Ming

E.C. "Buddy" Ming, 76, of Temple passed away on Monday, October 08, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. with a viewing one hour prior on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton, with Pastor Randy Holtzclaw officiating. A burial will follow at Salado Cemetery. Buddy was one of seven children born to Barton and Jimmy Ming on July 03, 1942 in Belton. He ran track for Belton High School and for Tarleton State University before transferring to Texas A&M. Buddy worked in construction most of his life. He was very active in his children's activities. He coached their little league teams and was a very out spoken parent when he wasn't coaching. He enjoyed golf and the Dallas Cowboys. Buddy always dreamed big and was larger than life. He will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Pat Camp and Cathy Douglas. Buddy is survived by three sons; Kevin Ming of Temple, Keith Ming of Temple, and Brandon Ming of Georgetown, his daughter, Shalyn Nelson of Round Rock, his brother, Butch Ming of Houston,three sisters; Nell Davis of Temple, Carole Carpenter of Temple and Martha Wood of Waco, and eight grandchildren.
