Earl Mullins

Earl Mullins, 81, of Harker Heights passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Chaplain Corkey Wells officiating.

Earl Mullins was born on June 6, 1941, to Thomas and Mae Mullins in Whitesburg, KY. He joined the U.S. Army in 1960 and retired after over twenty years. While serving he received a National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Metal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/ Palm Unit, Good Conduct Metal Clasp, Bronze 5 Loops, and Expert Rifle.  When Earl was younger, he played in a band and he always had a love for music. Earl enjoyed drinking coffee, listening to old country music, blue grass, and having breakfast with his friend and neighbor, Floyd Gilmore.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Mullins and wife, Wendy of Killeen; his daughter, Cynthia Carol of Augsburg, Germany and two cherished grandchildren.
