Dovie "Marie" Fritz

Dovie “Marie” Fritz, 71, of Temple passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in a local nursing home. Marie was born to Jewel and Walter Lang on October 29, 1949 in Salado, Texas. She spent her days raising her family. Marie loved art and poetry, listening to music and singing along, animals, and taking long walks. She could often be found reading her Bible, and was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church, living her life for the Lord. She spent much of her time with her family and friends. Marie was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Marie will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside service will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery with Reverend Donnie Jackson officiating.

Marie is survived by her daughters, Brenda McCoy and husband James Moulds of Killeen, and Amanda McCoy of Temple; her brothers, Charlie Yarbrough of Belton, and George Lang of Harker Heights; her sisters, Mary Hawthorne of Belton, Betty Shook of Temple, and Ima McCoy of Belton; her seven grandchildren; and her seventeen great grandchildren.
