Dorothy Katherine Phillips

Dorothy "Kathy" Phillips,62, of Temple passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at a Temple hospital. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Hartsville Cemetery in Sealy. Dorothy "Kathy" Phillips was born June 3, 1952 to George and Dorothy Herring in Weaver, SD. Kathy worked for Prudential Life Insurance for 25 years. She enjoyed talking on the phone, the holidays, spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents,George and Dorothy Herring, and her sisters, Susan Kay Hicks and Deanna Moore Booker. Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Dalton Phillips of Temple;one son Thomas Herring of Temple;two brothers, John and wife Dorothy of Arizona, and George and wife Karen Herring of Pasadena; four grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
