Dorothy Jean Daugherty

Dorothy J. Daugherty Dorothy J. Daugherty went home to be with her Lord, April 17, 2014. Dorothy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan February 17, 1955 to Richard and Dona (Resseguie) Conway. She is survived by her husband, Guy Daugherty, her mother Dona Johnson, one sister, Linda Langberg, two brothers, Scott Conway and Rick Conway. Also surviving are her four daughters - De Ann, Darcy, Danielle and Dana, many aunts, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher Conway and Robert Conway. Dorothy was an accomplished Certified Chef, having performed her artistry with food in many places around the world. Most recently she was the Food Service Director at a local senior health center. Dorothy touched many lives in an uplifting way, bringing out the full potential of people, be they friends, co-workers or subordinates. She was the ""Mom"" in many of the places where she recently worked. We will all miss our D.J. Because Dorothy touched so many people around the world, we ask those of you unable to travel, to gather those around you who knew her, to have your own Celebration of Life gathering, sharing your memories of a loving, caring Dorothy Jean.
