Dora Lopez

Dora Sustaita Lopez, 80, of Temple went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

A visitation for Dora will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary to follow from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple with Father Kurtis Wiedenfeld officiating. Committal services will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Dora was born on January 2,1941 to Leo and Antonia Sustaita in Cuero. She married the love of her life Juan Lopez Jr. on May 9, 1959, in Cuero. Dora spent her days caring for their five children. Dora loved being a mother and a grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and cooking meals for her family. Her family cherishes memories of her dancing and her smile. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple and was a virtuous woman of God.

Waiting for her in heaven was her son, David Lopez. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2018.

Dora is survived by her loving husband of over sixty-two years, Juan Lopez Jr. of Temple; her sons, Johnny and his wife, Diana Lopez and Joe Lopez, both of Temple; her daughter, Mary Lopez and her husband, Pedro Marquez of Temple; her thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many cherish family members and friends.
