Donald Walla Dix

Donald Walla Dix, 85, of Belton passed away on December 30, 2021 at his residence. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Crotty Funeral Home with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating. No visitation is scheduled. 

Donald was born on July 9, 1936 in Coleman, TX to John and Lillian (Fish) Dix. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 - 1985 serving in the Vietnam War. He worked for E-Systems in computers in Washington DC and later started the B.I.D. for the military. He married Sigurbjorg Agustdottir on June 6, 1981 in Iceland. He was a KIWA member in Abilene,TX and MTCI Telecommunication service. He also worked for Alcoa and did real estate. 

He is survived by his wife, Sigga Dix of Belton; two sons, Brynjar Daniels of Iceland and Robert Dix of Lubbock, TX; three daughters, Cindy Craine of Ft. Worth, TX, Birna Daniels of Hewitt, TX and Sarah Stuart of Sequin; one brother, Jerry Dix of Mineral Wells, Texas ; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery
