Dennis's love for automobiles extended beyond his professional life. He delighted in collecting diecast cars and was an enthusiastic fan of NASCAR, particularly adoring the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr. His hobby of attending car shows was one of the many ways he connected with others who shared his passion. Dennis was immensely proud of his two sons, Matthew Dees and his wife, Nicole Dees of Troy and Michael Dees of Temple. He cherished every moment spent in their company, relishing the times they gathered to share stories and laughter. Above all else, Dennis found unparalleled joy in spoiling his beloved grandchildren, Robert (Robbie), Carter, Araiah, and Willow.
