Debra Grant

Debra Grant,67, of Belton passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at a local hospital.

A celebration of Debra’s life will be 10 Am July 2, 2022, at her home in Belton.  

Debra was born on June 17, 1955, to James and Martha Chaney in Fort Knox, KY. She was an amazing mother to her two sons and an even better grandma. Debra worked as a manager for the Bell County Vehicle Registration office for many years. Debra enjoyed quilting, cooking, going all out for the holidays, and getting all her family together. Her family will miss her kind way of saying what needed to be said, even if you didn’t want to hear it. Debra will be missed beyond measure.

She is preceded by her parents, James and Martha Chaney.

Debra is survived by her two sons, Michael Hix and John Hix, and his wife, Tonya of Belton; her brother, James Chaney of Belton; her sister, Carol Taylor of Belton; grandchildren, Sebastian “Bass” Hix, Billi Joe Sterk, Macey Hix, Blake Hix, Katie Hix, and her great grandchildren, Westley, Sky, and one on the way.
