Debbie Lucille Kennedy,56, of Mineral Wells, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at a Fort Worth hospital. A memorial will be held for Debbie at a later date by her family. Debbie was born on February 20, 1961 to Claude and Blanche Kennedy in Olney, Texas. She was an RN and loved caring for others. Debbie enjoyed all outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, her flower garden, and bird sanctuaries. She bred Airedale Terriers and loved spending time with her family. Barrel racing was truly a passion of hers. Debbie had her PRCA card, was a money winning member of the Womens Professional Rodeo Asscociation, the National Barrel Horse Association, the Central Texas Barrel Racing Association, and the American Novice Horse Association. She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Blanche Kennedy. Debbie is survived by her loving son Clay Rhoads of Temple; her brother, Burke Andrew Kennedy and wife, Valerie of Mineral Wells; her sister, Laura Deviller of New Caney; her niece, Courtney Kennedy of and great niece, Charli Cornell of Wichita Falls.
