David Roy Long

David Roy Long Sr. ,60, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. 

A graveside service for David will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Wilson Valley Cemetery in Little River Academy.

David was born on September 16, 1960, to Lee Roy and Barbara Long in Jackson, Mississippi. He Graduated from Academy High School and went on to earn an associates degree. David worked alongside his father in the party rental business for many years. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family. David loved playing with his grandchildren, and they will miss him very much.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Barbara Long.

David is survived by his son, DR. Long Jr. of Belton, his daughter, Trista Long of Temple, his sisters, Judy Pullen and her husband, Danny of Little River Academy, Teresa Parson-Holliman, and her husband, Jim of Temple, and Doris Stevenson and her fiancé, Joe of Little River Academy, three grandchildren, Ian, Lola, and Braxi.
