David Mitchell Davis

David Mitchell Davis, 50, of Florence Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at A.M. on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Glover Cemetery in Florence, Texas. He was born on August 29, 1966 in Austin to Parker and Nancy Clawson Davis. David attended Travis County Sheriff's Academy at 21 years old. Within 3 years he moved up to lieutenant at Lago Vista police department and was head of the CID division. He also in later years worked for solid waste department and a tree service. He loved taking care of the family cemetery. He loved many kids and grandchildren as his own. David knew the bible and he was a Christian.
