Darrel Doyne Tintsman, peacefully passed away on March 13, 2024, in Belton, TX.
Born on August 2, 1940, in Arcata, CA, to Doyne Wesley and Gertrude (Wright) Tintsman.
Darrel's career as a machinist was not just a job but a craft that he mastered over the years. His skills and dedication in the field were truly remarkable, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with him. In his spare time, Darrel found solace and joy in working in his home machine shop, where he poured his heart into creating intricate trinkets.
Aside from his professional accomplishments, Darrel proudly served his country in the US Navy. His service was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his nation and fellow comrades.
One of Darrel's proudest accomplishments was being a member of the Temple Air Model Club. His enthusiasm for model aircrafts was contagious, and he cherished the friendships he formed within the club.
Darrel was preceded in death by his loving parents, Doyne Wesley and Gertrude (Wright) Tintsman, as well as his dear wife and brother.
He is survived by his son James Tintsman and wife Jennifer of Belton, TX, along with his daughter Barbara Harrison and husband Calvin. Darrel's legacy of love, hard work, and kindness will continue to inspire all those who knew him.
