Danny Trevino

May 7, 1966 — March 9, 2025

Harker Heights, Texas

Danny Trevino, a beacon of laughter and love, left this world on March 9, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on May 7, 1966, in the warm and welcoming town of Uvalde, Texas, Danny carried the spirit of his hometown throughout his life, spreading cheer and kindness wherever he went. He passed away in Temple, Texas, after a brief battle with pneumonia, surrounded by the love of his family.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday March 14, 2025 at Agape Christian Center in Belton with Pastor Rey Ramirez officiating.

Danny was a man of many talents, but he was best known for his exceptional skills as a master welder. His craftsmanship was not just a profession but a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to excellence. Danny's work was not only a reflection of his talent but also of his integrity and dedication. He was a man who built more than structures; he built lasting relationships with all those he worked with, leaving a legacy of hard work and respect within the welding community.

Beyond his work, Danny was a man of diverse interests and unyielding passion. Shopping was not just a pastime for him; it was an adventure, an opportunity to find joy in the little things. Danny's love for traveling took him to places far and wide, but he found equal pleasure in the simplicity of camping by the river, where he could immerse himself in the tranquility of nature. His garden was a canvas of his soul, each plant nurtured with the same love and care he showed to those around him.

Family was the cornerstone of Danny's life. His beloved wife, Maria Cantu, stood by him as a partner in all of life's adventures. Together they raised three sons: Jose Francisco, Bo, and the late Brandon Lee Gutierrez, whose memory remained a guiding light in Danny's life. The joy of being a grandfather to Alyssa Lee Martin was a role Danny cherished deeply. His family was his pride, his joy, and the very essence of his being.

Those who knew Danny would describe him as faith-filled, loving, and funny. His faith was unwavering, a source of strength and inspiration, guiding him through life's ups and downs with grace and humility. His loving nature was evident in every hug, every word of encouragement, and every act of kindness. Danny's humor was a gift; he had an innate ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, to turn a moment of despair into one of hope.

Let us remember Danny not with sorrow, but with the same optimism and zest for life that he embodied. He taught us to embrace each day with open arms, to find joy in the mundane, and to love without reservation. Danny's legacy is one of laughter, love, and the power of a positive spirit. It is not about how long we live but how deeply we love, how loudly we laugh, and how we use our own light to dispel the darkness.

Danny Trevino's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the stories of his love, the echoes of his laughter, and the fruits of his labor will continue to inspire and motivate all who were blessed to know him. Let us carry forward the torch of his infectious enthusiasm, for in doing so, we keep the essence of Danny alive and burning brightly in our hearts. Danny, you were a shining example of how to live with joy and purpose. Your memory will forever be a guiding star to those who loved you.
