Daniel Ray Pruitt Sr., 69, of Belton passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 in a local hospital. Daniel was born to Barbara and Jasper Pruitt on February 13, 1952 in Leander, Texas. He spent his days working as a mechanic, truck driver, and painter. Dan was a hard worker and great delegator. He was a little stuck in his ways, and maybe a little hardheaded and stubborn at times, but his family and friends loved him dearly regardless. He will be very missed.
A memorial service for Dan will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.
Dan is survived by his sons, Tommy Joe Pruitt and significant other Kara Thorne of Belton, and Floyd Christian Pruitt of Belton; his daughter, Raydean Golding and husband Bobby Golding of Belton; his brothers, Howard Pruitt of New Mexico and J.D. Pruitt of Burnet; his sisters, Mary Pruitt of Temple, and Barbara Pruitt of Austin; his grandchildren, Bobby Golding and significant other Caitlyn Waters, Billy Golding and wife Makenna, Cody Pruitt and significant other Hailey Mapes, Mason Pruitt, and Hunter Pruitt; and one great-granddaughter.
Dan is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Ray Pruitt Jr., and both of his parents.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
