Coleman Wayne Knight

Coleman Wayne Knight, 51, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Heights Baptist Church in Temple with Reverend Billy Koimn officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. thirty minutes before service time. His body was cremated. Coleman Wayne Knight was born on September 12, 1965 to Denny and LaJune Knight in Temple.. Coleman married his wife Bobbie Snider Knight August 9, 1993 in Temple. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.Coleman graduated from Temple High School in 1984 and attended TJC and CTC. He loved music was a DJ and newscaster at KTEM Radio, KCEN TV of Temple, WSAV TV in Savannah, Georgia and Time Warner in Houston and Austin. He completed clinical's and received a medical assistant certificate in 2013.Coleman worked as a volunteer fireman in Georgia and at Stillhouse fire department. He worked at Scott & White Pain Clinic, this was a dream job to him and due to his health he had to retire. Coleman was a referee of NFS and 360 wrestling. He was a member of Central Texas Sportsman Club and a lifetime member of Heights Baptist Church of Temple. Coleman is preceded in death by his father, Denny Knight in 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Snider Knight of Temple; mother, LaJune Knight of Temple; one son, Heath Garton of Temple; one daughter, Heather Cornejo of Rosenburg, TX; one brother, Randy Knight of Temple; one sister, Deidra Knight of Dickson,TN.; four beloved grandchildren, Kerriay Cornejo, Trey Mace,Joey Coenejo and Lauren Cornejo.
