Clarice June Lawson

Clarice June Lawson, 82, of Temple passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at a local nursing home. Clarice was born on May 31, 1936 to George and Julia Schilling in Westphalia. She spent her days taking care of their seven children. Her hobbies included embroidery, coloring, and listening to old country music. Clarice was a loving mother and will be dearly missed. A memorial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 with her grandson, Joshua Sonnenberg officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, George Wayne Schilling of Temple, her sister, Bobbie Lou Wood of Gatesville and her husband, Doyle Curtis Lawson. Clarice is survived by her two sons; Stephen Lawson of El Dorado,AR and Matthew Lawson of Marble Falls; her five daughters, Bettye Collier of Farmersville, Desiree Lawson of Temple, Sarah Sonnenberg of Bryan, Martha Lawson of Temple, and Rachel Conlon of Temple; her nine grandsons; her five granddaughters; and her twelve great grandchildren.
