Christopher Lee Benavides

Christopher Lee Benavides, 41, of Killeen passed away, April 3, 2016 at his residence. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans cemetery in Killeen. Christopher Lee Benavides was born July 1, 1974 to Freddy and Delia Benavides in Corpus Christi,TX. He married Sandy Alaniz Benavides on October 03, 1994 in Corpus Christi. Christopher retired from the Army after over 21 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed. Christopher is survived by his parents, Freddy Guajardo of Laredo, TX and Delia Benavides of California; his wife, Sandy Benavides, of Killeen; one son, Christopher Aaron Benavides of Killeen; one daughter, Cassie Lynn Benavides of Killeen; one brother, Michael Guajardo, one sister, Stephanie Guajardo. A visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. followed by a private family rosary from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.
