Christine Margartia Truelove, 74, of Temple, born Christine Margartia Ortega born on April 16, 1950, in Rockford Colorado, peacefully passed away on August 12, 2024 at a Temple hospital. She was a dedicated and cherished member of the Jehovah's Witness community, finding solace and purpose in her faith throughout her life.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Christine touched the hearts of many with her unwavering love for her family. She adored her children, Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters, and brothers with depth of affection that knew no bounds. Her kind and nurturing spirit resonated with all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on each soul she encountered.
Christine's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with memories of love, laughter, and shared moments with her loved ones. She found immense joy in simple pleasures, such as family gatherings, cookouts, watching drag racing, and indulging in old movies. Her love for reading, especially her Bible, was a testament to her steadfast faith and commitment to spiritual growth.
Surrounded by her family, Christine transitioned from this world to the next, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion. Her passing is mourned by her beloved children: Kevin Truelove and his wife Henrietta Truelove of Belton, TX; Mark Truelove and his wife Heather Truelove of Moody, TX; Theresa Truelove of Temple, TX; Sabra Ann Brinlee and her husband Kenneth Golding of Aransas Pass, TX.
Christine's memory will be cherished by her sisters: Carmen Apodaca of Rocky Ford, CO; Martha Abeyta of Pueblo, CO; Patricia Sena of Rocky Ford, CO; her brother, Carlos Ortega of Denver, CO; along with numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who brought light and joy into her life.
She now joins her beloved husband, Walter Truelove, in eternal peace. Christine is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Ortega; mother, Pascualita Ortega; brothers, Antonio Jr, and Levi Ortega; and sister, Virginia Lavato.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, may Christine Margartia Truelove's legacy of love and devotion continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known her. In the quiet moments of reflection, may her memory bring comfort and solace to all whose lives she graced.
