Charles L. Simmons

Charles Luther Simmons,69,of Belton passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at a Temple hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date. His Body was cremated. Charles Luther Simmons was born May 17, 1944 to George and Ola Mae Simmons in Belton, Texas. He worked in the Auto Upolstery business most of his life and later retired. He enjoyed riding horses, fishing, music, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Simmons of Belton in January 2013 and his sister, Cassandra Henry of Rogers. He is survived by one son, Charles Matthew Simmons of Moody;two daughters, Brenda Simmons Bays of Temple, and Melissa Simmons Mckinley of Killeen;one brother, Alvin Lee Simmons of Temple;one sister, Gladys Farmer of Belton and three grandchildren.
