Charles E. Jones

Charles E. Jones, 62 of Holland passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2015 at a Temple hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday October 24, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Holland with Brother Randy Evans officiating. His body was cremated. Charles was born on January 22, 1953 in Princeton, MO. to Charles and Marlene Mienke Jones. He graduated college with a bachelors degree. He was an Eagle Scout, loved to read, loved animals. He loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors are his mother, Marlene Jones of Fort Worth; wife, Linda Jones of Holland;two sons, Will Jones of Troy and Daniel Valchar of Round Rock; one daughter, Melissa Mertz of Houston; two brothers, Ted Jones of Florida and Brent Jones of Ft. Worth; three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Holland. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
