His family always remembers his drive to help others even as a young child and that same drive is what encouraged him to join the United States Army at the age of only seventeen. Carlos was a Combat Medic in the 49th Cav Unit at Fort Hood Military Base. He married Kelly Imperial on April 10, 2015. Kelly had two daughters when they met, and he loved them like they were his own. As his wife Kelly would say, “Carlos was kind of a nerd, but in a good way.” He enjoyed making model kits of all kinds, video games like Warhammer and Gundam, and visiting Barnes & Nobles in different cities. Carlos also liked working on trucks, going for motorcycle rides on his Harley, traveling, and loved his dog, Sora.
