Brian Clayton Trice, a devoted family man and dedicated worker, passed away at his home on October 19, 2023, at the age of 53 in Copperas Cove, Texas. Born on November 18, 1969, in Tulare, California, Brian leaves behind a lasting legacy that will be cherished by his loved ones forever.
Brian had a successful career in the lumber industry. He worked in purchasing at Heights Lumber until his health conditions necessitated his retirement in 2022. Before that, he contributed his skills and expertise at 195 Lumber and the Guardian Fiberglass Plant. Brian's strong work ethic was admired by all who knew him, as he was known for being diligent and passionate about his job.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian's true joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He treasured moments spent with his beloved grandchildren and always made sure to make others feel comfortable in his presence. Brian's kind and easy-going nature made him a pillar of support for those around him.
In his leisure time, Brian had a variety of interests that brought him happiness. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following various teams closely. Classic movies from yesteryears held a special place in his heart, as did the timeless tunes of classic rock music. Animals also held a special place in Brian's heart; whether it was an old barn cat or a massive dog, he found solace and companionship in their presence.
One of Brian's proudest accomplishments was serving as a volunteer fireman. He selflessly dedicated himself to the well-being and safety of his community during times of crisis. His bravery and commitment will be remembered for years to come.
Brian is survived by his son Zackery Trice and wife Kyla of Fort Cavazos, TX; his son Dustin Trice of Copperas Cove,TX; his stepfather Michael Phillips of Golden Valley, AZ; his brother Pat Phillips; his sisters Kimberly Pipkin and Kipper Phillips, all of California. Brian also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on October 26, 2023, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. The service will begin at 2:00 pm and conclude at 3:00 pm. It is an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and remember the beautiful life Brian lived.
Brian Clayton Trice will be remembered for his simplicity and genuine nature that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He may be gone from this world, but his spirit and love will forever remain with us.
