Bret Duane Dickerson, a man of many talents and a loving soul, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Belton, Texas. Bret was born on June 28, 1964, in Eufaula, Alabama to Christopher Dickerson and Sharon (Miller) Alexander.
Bret's creativity and passion for the arts shone brightly throughout his life. As a gifted artist, writer, and guitar player, he enchanted those around him with his talents. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Bret found joy in simple pleasures like playing pool and working on cars.
Among Bret's proudest accomplishments were his daughter, Kymberli Mikayla Dickerson, and his grandchildren. His love for them knew no bounds and they brought immense joy and pride to his life. In honor of Bret's memory, they will continue to carry forth the values he instilled in them.
Bret is survived by his daughter, Kymberli Mikayla Dickerson of Belton; brothers, Glenn Dickerson and Patrick Dickerson; grandchildren, Evonne Sue Hisatake and Reignon Lake Hisatake along with nieces, Maddlyn Rayne Guzman, and Emily Sage Watson.
Bret is now reunited with his father, Christopher Dickerson and mother, Sharon (Miller) Alexander, who preceded him in death.
Services to celebrate Bret Duane Dickerson's life will be March 16th at Belton Nazarene Church, 1701 Sparta Rd, Belton, TX 76513. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, service will start at 11 AM with Pastor Stevon Bamburg officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.
Though Bret may no longer walk amongst us, his spirit lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created. May he rest in peace knowing that he was loved and will always be remembered with affection and respect.
