Branton Edward Shows II, 74, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in a local hospital. Branton was born to Juanita and William Shows on September 28, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. Branton served his country in the United States Navy, and later went on to work as a truck driver. He was an avid cowboy and loved his Harley Davidson. Even after several accidents, he never missed a ride. He loved horses and owned several. Branton also enjoyed building cars, especially his 1949 Chevy, and going to buy parts. He was often found with a Dr. Pepper in hand.
A graveside service for Branton will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Patsy Shows of California; his sons, Jeff Quackenbush of Belton, Steven Shows of Las Vegas, NV, and Scotty Shows of California; his daughters, Lisa Bullard of Michigan, Linda Quackenbush of California, and Martha “Marty” Evans of Belton; his fifteen grandchildren; and his numerous great-grandchildren.
Brandon is preceded in death by his sons, Mike Shows and Davin Shows; his brother, Bill Shows; and his sisters, Betsy Purvis, Stephanie Hanson, and Martna Poole.
Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
