Branden J. Czarnecki, born on April 26, 1975, and a devoted soldier, departed from this world on December 30, 2024. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.

Branden was a true patriot, embodying the very essence of service and sacrifice. His unwavering commitment to his country was evident through his years in the Army, where he bravely fought in numerous wars as part of the Michigan and Texas National Guards. His dedication laid a foundation of honor that his family and community will always admire. Educated with great determination, Branden graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1993 and later earned his degree in secondary education-social studies from Olivet College in 2010. His passion for learning and sharing knowledge was evident in all that he did, a gift he carried with pride.

Beyond academics and service, Branden was an avid sports fan, a lifelong supporter of the University of Michigan, who often found his afternoons engrossed in ESPN highlights. An aficionado of music, he delighted in the nostalgia of the '80s sounds, relishing in the melodies that transported him back to cherished moments of the past. Concerts were a particular joy for him, where he created memories that would last a lifetime.

Branden was a traveler at heart, having explored much of the world and embraced its diverse cultures. Germany held a special place in his heart, captivating him with its rich history and beauty. He returned from his adventures with captivating stories and a trove of souvenirs, each item a testament to the experiences he treasured.

An enthusiast of history and a connoisseur of cigars, Branden enjoyed indulging in rich flavors and the company of good friends over a delightful meal. His spirit was vibrant, and his laughter infectious, illuminating the lives of those around him.

Branden is survived by his loving mother, Jenie L. Marlatt; his sister, Kimberly S. Ash; his nephew, Terence M-B Ash; and his nieces, Kamryn J. Ash and Darien L. Czarnecki. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin John Czarnecki, who left this world on March 4, 2016.

As we reflect on Branden's life, let us carry forward the lessons he imparted through his service, his passion for knowledge, and his unyielding love for family and friends. Branden will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
