Bradley Walker Oates Sr., 65, of Goldthwaite passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Bradley was born to Camila and Steven Oates on February 20, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. Bradley was man of many hats. He was a masonary, carpenter, a jack of all trades. He was a music song writer. Bradley's music was a huge part of his life. He wrote many songs, the first being at the young age of 12 years old. Bradley also loved to fish. Bradley was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. A visitation for Bradley will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, with burial at North Belton Cemetery to follow. Bradley is survived by his wife, Linda Feagin-Oates; his son, Christopher Oates and wife Brandie of Temple; his daughter, Jill Rager and husband Anthony of Temple; his sister, Susan Kerns and husband Ray of Bedford, Indiana; his six grandchildren, Jacob Rager, Ryan Rager, Cody Rager, Christopher Rager, Jack Oates, and Chris Oates; his six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bradley is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Calvin Oates, JR Oates, and Steven (Gene) Oates. Arrangements are entrusted Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
