Bobby Charles Dodge was born on March 6, 1952 to Charles Norman and Billie (Hamilton) Dodge. Bobby was married to the love of his life Betty Dodge, of Moody. Bobby was a selfless man, that would do anything for anybody. Bobby was a man of faith and held his Lord close to his heart. He was a proud member of Trinity Fellowship Church and took great pride in following the leadership of his best friend, Brother Roger West. Bobby enjoyed being involved in the development and construction of his church and congregation.
Bobby loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandson’s. He received great enjoyment out of watching his grandson’s play football and baseball and was a very prideful Pop. The gentle side of Pop also took great enjoyment out of playing on the floor with his great granddaughters. Bobby enjoyed spending time on the tractor and was a true “Mr. Fix-it.” If someone needed something fixed, they would often call “Big Bobby Dodge.”
Bobby also enjoyed the simple things in life, like sitting on the back porch with his wife Betty and admiring his yard and flowers. Bobby’s infectious laughter and love for life made him a bundle of joy in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His generosity was LEGENDARY, extending to not only his loved ones but also to complete strangers.
In his lifetime, Bobby touched countless lives and left a tremendous mark on his community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Bobby Charles Dodge will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Norman and Billie (Hamilton) Dodge, and his sister, Judy Graham.
