Bobby Joe Boyd

Bobby Joe Boyd, 76, of Granger, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 23rd, suddenly, at a hospice facility in Round Rock, TX. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 26, 2012 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Michael J. Swink officiating. The body was cremated. Bobby Joe Boyd was born on February 28, 1936 in Youngsport, TX to Charles and Sadie Andrews Boyd. He started his career at the Texas Highway department in Belton in 1964. He continued working most of his life in construction. He worked for Odell Geer Construction for many years. He was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church of Belton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Belton. Survivors are one son, Charles Robert (Bob) Boyd of Austin; three daughters, Tammy Rodriguez of Temple, Kathy Trevino of Belton and Joey Saverse of Little River Academy; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one sister Johnnie Dockrey. Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Hospice of Altenheim 100 North College Street Round Rock, TX 78664.
