Billy Douglas Smegner

Billy Douglas Smegner, 73, of Weatherford passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Pastor Randy Binion officiating. Billy was born on August 11, 1944 to Joyie and Doris Smegner in Waco. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Billy also retired from Railroad as a Conductor. He loved his dogs and spending time with his family. Billy was survived by his four cousins; Melody Binion of Killeen, Jan Morrison of Billings, Missouri, Regina Osborne of Fort Worth, and Susan Gaskill of Rockwall.
