Bernardo ""Barney"" Rodriguez

Bernardo ""Barney"" Rodriguez, 53, of Temple passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 in the comfort of his home. Barney was born to Dolores and Severino Rodriguez on August 20, 1966 in Lubbock. He worked in commercial construction until he retired in 2017. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Temple and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Barney was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Visitation for Barney will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Rosary will follow the visitation, beginning at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Barney is survived by his sons, Bernardo Anthony Rodriguez of Temple, and Joshua Rodriguez of Academy; his daughter, Mikenzi Rodriguez of Academy; his brothers, Joe Rodriguez of Temple, Oscar Rodriguez of Temple, Candy Rodriguez of Temple, and Steve Rodriguez of Leander; his sisters, Sylvia Rodriguez of Round Rock, Isabel Fisher of Temple, and Carol Rodriguez; and his two grandchildren. Barney is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Garcia, who passed in 2004. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
