Becky Dawn Jett

Becky Dawn Jett, 51, of Temple passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the comfort of her home. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Temple with Reverend Mike Snell officiating. Becky was born to Jerry and Mae Jett on October 6, 1967 in Garland, Texas. She graduated from Temple College in 2006 and worked as a registered nurse at a local hospital. She married her wife, Dawn ""Missy"" Thompson, in 2017. Becky enjoyed reading, crocheting, and baking in her spare time. Becky is survived by her wife Missy Thompson of Temple; her step-mom, Ruby Jett of Temple; two sons, Andrew Peifer of Belton and Kristopher Thompson of Belle fontaine, OH.; three daughters, Savanah Jett of Temple, Michelle Peifer of Belton, and Dakota Thompson of Temple; two sisters, Denise Jett and partner Anna Koene of Weimer,TX. and Toni McCommas of Waco; one stepbrother, Kyle Bradford of Troy; two grandsons, Jett Peifer of Belton and Robert James Thompson of Kenton, OH.; her dog and longtime companion Rowdy. Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Jett on September 21, 2017 and Mae Jett, who passed on July 13,2004.
