Barbara Nan Roberts

Barbara Nan (East) Roberts, 72, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at a Temple hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton located at 5431 West US HWY 190 in Belton. A burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery. Barbara Roberts was born on August 4, 1942 to William and Nanalou East in Freer, TX. Barbara married the love of her life, Charles Roberts on October 11, 1962. She was a book keeper and office manager most of her life. Barbara was a past member of the Rock Hound Club and also a member of the Bell County Sportsman Club for over 15 years. She enjoyed fishing and you could find her with a fishing pole in the water at Sportsman's at all hours of the night. She loved looking for fossils, animals, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of over 52 years, Charles Roberts; daughter Denise Renee Roberts. She is survived by her loving daughter, Terri Lynn Martinez, of Temple; step-daughter, Jill Decker, of Belton; step-son, Jamie Roberts, of Dandridge, TN; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren A Visitation will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M, at Crotty Funeral Home of Belton.
