Anna Elizabeth Ervin

Anna Elizabeth Ervin, 88, of Belton passed away on Thursday August 25, 2016 at a Belton nursing home. Private family services will be held Monday August 29, 2016 with Chaplain Bruce Mercer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday August 28, 2016 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton . Anna was born on October 11, 1927 in Maryland to George and Anna Dudek Zellman. She married Bruce Wesley Ervin on May 11, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1998. Anna worked as a homemaker and a waitress. She loved to cook and bake for her family. Many holidays of her in the kitchen baking will be lasting memories for her family. Anna loved to play Bingo. She was loved and will be missed dearly. Anna was a very kind and loving mother and grandmother but could be stern when she needed to be.Her husband Bruce served in the military and they raised seven children; five daughters, Brenda Strealy and husband James, of Burleson, Tx., Patty Schodlbauer and husband Richard of Temple, Andrea Ervin of Belton, Gail Moore of Gatesville, Terrie Bay and husband Richard Sr. of Belton; two sons, Bruce Ervin of Florence, Co. and Burt Ervin of Gatesville; one brother, Carl Zellman of Magnolia, DE.; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Mervin Zellman and Charles Zellman. Crotty Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
