Angelina Aguillon Flores, a devoted mother and grandmother, left this world on April 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and family unity. Born on August 31, 1958, Angelina dedicated her life to caring for her family, embodying the essence of what it means to be a nurturing figure in their lives. Possessing strong faith in the Lord that she passed down to her children and grandchildren.
Angelina attended Troy High School where she graduated in 1978. Her home was a haven, filled with the delightful aromas of her amazing cooking and baking that brought everyone together for family celebrations and gatherings. Angelina's culinary talents were not just about preparing meals; they were expressions of her love, love that nourished both body and spirit. Family events were always filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of her presence, which made every moment special and memorable.
She worked her younger years at Superior Chair in Belton, Texas where she met her husband. She then went on to work for Clem Mikeska’s Bar-B-Q. She later joined McLanes as a stocker, then soon moved up as she was a dedicated Customer Service Specialist for McLanes for over 20 years. She also worked, some time in between, for the City of Temple assisting with Housing Development Projects. Through her work, she positively impacted the lives of so many people as she just always tried to help in anyway she could. When she wasn't working, she was a wonderful homemaker, caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and anyone else she came in contact with. Before her passing, she has long been caring for her Husband, who is battling a Meningioma Tumor. Providing a safe, loving, and happy home was her greatest achievement.
Angelina enjoyed time with her family more than anything and caring for her Husband of almost 43 years. She enjoyed playing games on her phone in her free time, especially the ones she would win money on here and there. She would get excited about them and would want her family to download the same games. She was a wonderful seamstress, always making her children's clothes for school, when they were smaller, and even making Halloween costumes her eldest daughter would request. She enjoyed watching Football with her family and NASCAR as well in which she attended a few times with her family in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Angelina will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the perfect example of what a mother and grandmother should be, instilling values of kindness, compassion, and togetherness within her family. Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit and values in their lives.
She is survived by her beloved husband: Robert Chavez Flores, children: Francisca Renee Flores, Robert C. Flores Jr. (wife, Alana Lopez Flores), and Kristian Flores Ayala (husband, Rene Alex Ayala). The light of her life also shone brightly on her grandchildren: Carlos Flores, Cesar Flores, Carmen Flores, Raleigh Ayala, and Maddex Ayala. Additionally, she is mourned by her brothers: Marcelo Aguillon, and Miguel Aguillon (sister in law, Brandy Aguillon), sister in law, Laura Gross Aguillon, brother in law: David Herrera, additional in-laws: David Flores (partner Mary) and Augustine Flores (Maria), and sister-in-law Christina Flores. Angelina's family was her pride and joy, and they will continue to cherish the memories they created together.
Angelina now joins her beloved parents, Francisca Mendoza Aguillon, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2009, and Santiago C. Aguillon, who passed away on August 5, 1981. She is also reunited with her brothers Guadalupe Mendoza Aguillon (November 1, 2007) and Domingo Aguillon (September 9, 2013), Santiago Aguillon Jr. (April 6, 2025), as well as her sisters Rosa Davila Aguillon (January 30, 2019) and Marianne Aguillon Herrera (March 27, 2010).
