Amanda Sellers

A memorial service for Amanda Lyn Sellers will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton, TX with Pastor Phil Mchintosh officiating.

Amanda died January 2, 2023, at a Temple hospital surrounded by family.

Amanda was born on January 11, 1980, to Rex Courtright and Darla Farr Dowdy in Battle Creek, MI. In 1996 when her father retired from the army they moved to Killeen, Tx. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1998. Amanda married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Kenneth Sellers Jr. on October 7, 2002, together they had three children.

Amanda was the life of the party, she knew how to have fun and put a smile on everyone’s face. She loved singing, dancing, and having a good party. Amanda was “crazy” a little but that is what made her, HER. Amanda had a big heart and was there for anyone who needed her.

She was preceded in death by both her grandparents and her dear friend Jimbo.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sellers Jr., a son. Clayton Sellers; two daughter, Hannah and Marianne Sellers; her father, Rex Courtright; mother, Darla Farr Dowdy; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth Sellers Sr. and Brenda Sellers; grandmother, Janice Gilcrest; a brother Jeremiah Courtright; a sister, Angie Sherlin; brother-in-law, Steven and Patrick along with many cousins, aunts and uncles.
