Alice Markley

Alice Markley, 84, of Rogers passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at her residence. 

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Her body was cremated.

Alice was born in Lampasas, Texas on July 17, 1937 to Pedro Baladez and Maria Velasquez Baladez.  She was a homemaker, a housekeeper, and attended St Mary’s Catholic Church of Temple. She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, flowers, and absolutely loved western movies and country music.  She adored and loved her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all her life, she will always be remembered as a very loving Mom and Nana.

Survivors are two sons, Roger Markley and wife Roxanne of Smithfield, PA, and Ronnie Baladez and wife Shawna of Rogers, Texas; two daughters, Lisa Lechuga and husband Joe of Belton, Tx, and Leona Lilly and husband Ronnie of Flat Top, WV; one sister, Josephine Smith and husband Greg of Belton, TX; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
