Alice Faye Lockett

Alice Faye Lockett, 75, of Killeen passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Alice was born to Lola and Willie Walker on May 15, 1945 in Temple. Alice worked as a private duty nurse. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing seek-a-word, and reading. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Alice was a very caring woman and will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Alice will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Simmonsville Missionary Baptist Church in Killeen. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Winfred Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Temple Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Alice is survived by her son, Rayford Lockett of Harker Heights; her daughter, Cynthia Lockett of Killeen; her brothers, Willie Marvin Jr. of Brenham, James Walker of Lawton, OK, Earnest C. Walker of Temple, Rev. Eddie J. Walker of Killeen, and Pastor Elijah Walker of Brenham; her sisters, Lorine Washington and Willie Mae Tinsley, both of Killeen; her five grandchildren; and her eight great-grandchildren.
