Agnes Lena Chandler

Agnes Lena Chandler, 96, of Temple, TX, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025.

Agnes lived in Central and North Texas. She loved living in the country, Elvis, dancing, all things Czech, and spending time with her family. She had a strong work ethic and was involved in SPJST, SOKAL, and American Legion.

She is survived by her son in law, Jim Christopher, granddaughter, Kira Smith and husband Ben Smith, and great grandchildren, Luke Tracy and Brett Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and children, Butch Danley and Sharon Christopher.

A private celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.”

Her zest and energy for life will be missed by all that knew her.
